Founders
Epistemion was founded in 2025 by two engineers who believe most businesses are underserved by generic software, and that custom solutions should be within reach for organizations of every size.
Co-Founder
Mark Eschbach II
Research-driven software for scientific systems, data pipelines, and operator insight.
Mark is a research scientist and applied software developer. His work spans enterprise multi-platform data systems for water treatment operations, machine learning and business intelligence, and custom instrument software and dashboards for laboratory analytical systems. He pairs scientific rigor with a business operator's eye for what actually moves the needle.

Pete Norcross
Production-grade engineering for embedded systems, control loops, and agentic AI.
Pete is a principal software and embedded systems engineer. His work spans agentic AI monitoring, control systems for power distribution, and firmware and software for unmanned aircraft and simulators. In 2015 he built an AI system for unsupervised alerting on logs, and has been integrating with AI in production systems ever since.
